7. Cypress of Abarkuh in Iran
Also called the “Zoroastrian Sarv”, Cypress of Abarkuh is 25 m in height and 18 m in circumference, and is located at Abarkuh of Iran. More than 4,000 years old and regarded as a national natural monument, Cypress of Abarkuh is protected by the Cultural Heritage Organization of Iran.

8. Alerce Milenario in Andes Mountains
Alerce Milenario, also called “Gran Abuelo”, is a monotypic genus in the cypress family native to the Andes Mountains. The tree, with 60 m in height and 4.26 m in trunk diameter, is estimated to be 3622 years old.
